We have just finished our kick-off session at FRAM Smart Cities project in Barcelona, organized by Innovation Norway. The FRAM Smart Cities programe is hosted in Norway, UK and Spain and gives us access to support and guidance to grow and transform our business internationally.
The final work on the new Smart Hub is progressing rapidly, but not as fast as planned. Originally we wanted to launch it in October, but unfortunately we have to postpone the launch date. The Smart Hub has just finished the CE pre-certification and is currently awaiting CE-certification.
It’s time for a status update on our coming gateway: The Smart Hub. The Smart Hub is the brain of Future Home, and it communicates with everything that makes your home smart. After endless months of development and preparations we are finally at the last steps of prototyping.
We are happy to announce that we have secured 10 million NOK in funding and gotten IKM Invest as a part of our team. IKM Invest are investing with board members, founders, employees and initial investors.
Lately there have been some changes at Future Home. We have now gotten a new "pro" board of directors, a new office and new employees. Hopefully all these new changes will bring us closer to our vision of making smart homes available for everyone.
We have delivered out kits to all the supporters who wanted Future Home with the current Smart Hub. One of these supporters was retailer Jernia Hundvåg, who wanted to sell Future Home to their customers.
